ADI-BDR Group Signal Processing Laboratory at Xiaman University, China

ADI and BDR group are proud to be a part of a new partnership with Xiaman University in China.  BDR and ADI recognize that the best way to ensure progress in the field is to promote young minds and to further this goal they have founded the new Group Signal Processing Laboratory at the School for Information, Science and Technology in Xiaman University.

Students in the engineering department of Xiaman Univeristy were unable to apply the skills that they were learning due to a lack of funding and poor equipment.  They sought help from the international community.  BDR and ADI answered their call and donated both cutting edge equipment and their time to create the new laboratory.

During a recent visit to inaugurate the laboratory, ADI and BDR representatives received a warm welcome. At the opening ceremony Guo Dong- Hui, vice president of the School of Information, Science and Technology expressed his hope that this laboratory will enhance the research capacity of the school as well as strengthen the practical skills of his students.  The opportunity to work on world class equipment will give students the edge they need to make significant contributions to the application of research in the field while raising the quality of teaching and research levels.

BDR and ADI will continue to provide both equipment and technical support to the laboratory in order to foster innovative ideas and applications of new technologies.  The new lab will also focus on giving students real world skills teaching them about hardware, software and professional development.

This new initiative will cultivate a partnership between the Chinese University, its budding engineers and technological leaders.  The establishment of a joint lab will help to promote partnership and future endeavors.  BDR and ADI are proud to be a part of the project to both trains the minds of future.
